Why The Best Hauler

Most enclosed carriers are set up for cars and take sleds as filler. This is the other way around — sleds are the whole business, and they’re handled by someone who collects them himself.

Experience with rare machines

Barn finds, prototypes, one-offs, race sleds and museum pieces with no replacement parts left in existence. Handled by someone who knows what he’s looking at before he touches it.

Always hauled by the owner

Adam loads it, straps it, drives it and unloads it. Your sled is never handed to a subcontractor, a broker or a driver you’ve never spoken to. No rotating drivers. No excuses. No exceptions.

Dedicated to snowmobiles

Sleds are not a sideline here. The trailer, the tie-downs, the padding and the loading method are all built around snowmobiles first.

Clear, consistent communication

One phone number and one person on the other end of it. Confirmed pickup windows, updates in transit and a real answer when plans change.

He knows where the machines are

Decades of collecting and hunting sleds means Adam knows the collections, the barns and the people. Owners regularly call him about more than transport.

NDA on demand

Unannounced machines, prototypes and private acquisitions move quietly. Non-disclosure agreements signed before the first conversation, and nothing posted without your say-so.

Anything, anywhere

All 50 states and Canada, Alaska by arrangement. Arizona to Wisconsin, Quebec to Colorado — if it needs to get there intact, it gets there.

Anyone can move a bike. Almost nobody can move a sled properly.

A motorcycle rolls on two wheels and takes a strap almost anywhere. A car sits on four. A vintage snowmobile does neither — it sits on skis and a track, and nearly every hard point on it is a piece of forty-year-old plastic nobody makes anymore. Most transport damage happens at the tie-down, not on the road.

No force, ever

If a sled has to be forced, something is being done wrong. Every machine gets positioned, lifted and guided rather than shoved, dragged or muscled into a gap that’s too tight for it.

Hoods and plastics are unobtainium

A cracked hood on a rare sled can’t be bought at any price. Hoods come off or get supported before the machine ever moves.

Damage-free tie-downs

Soft ties and correct anchor points only. No ratchet straps crushing A-arms, no load pulled through the suspension, no strap laid across an original decal.

Paint, chrome and detail protection

Blankets and covers on every contact point. Chrome pipes, polished tunnels and original graphics arrive the way they left.

Proper packing and spacing

Loaded so nothing touches, nothing shifts and nothing rubs. Skis and carbides isolated so they can’t mar a neighboring machine or the deck.

It gets loaded like it’s mine

Most of these machines mean something to somebody — a first sled, a father’s sled, the one that got away and finally came back. That’s the standard every load is held to.

Fleet & commercial

Sleds are the specialty, but the trailer doesn’t leave half empty. Parts and NOS hoards, motorcycles, cars, lawn and garden tractors, antique gas pumps, signage — and yes, the occasional barber chair. See what else has ridden along.

Meet the hauler

Adam Leubner has been hauling snowmobiles for a living since 2004, and collecting them a good deal longer.

Adam has invested decades of passion into snowmobile racing, collecting and hunting down machines other people had written off. He’s been collecting sleds himself for [ X ] years, which is the short version of why he handles yours the way he does — he already knows what a cracked hood costs, because he’s spent years trying to find one.

What collectors say

We’ve used Adam for almost every sled we’ve moved from the East or West Coast to Northern Wisconsin, and there is no one better.

Brad Warning
The Warning Collection

We use Adam to get sleds safe and sound from all over the U.S. and Canada for special events. Adam treats the sleds like they are his own, and lets us know what is going on every step of the way.

Tom White
The Snowmobile Hall of Fame

The trip from Arizona to Minnesota is a brutally long and perilous journey. Adam got all ten sleds there with zero issues and on time — and for a haul that big, it was very affordable.
